Tech Brief: Microgreen Manager Software
Microgreen Manager is a new software program that helps microgreens business owners streamline operations. It was developed by Garrett Corwin, owner of Piedmont Microgreens, and his brother, Spencer.
How It Works
When a grower first starts using Microgreen Manager, they’re asked to enter the microgreens they’re growing, the different blends they offer, and the yields they typically see. Then, it will have them enter their orders and when they have to be sent out. Once they’ve entered that information, the software will produce harvest summaries and a calendar task list for the grower to complete.

As Garrett and Spencer develop the software, they will build out more functionalities to help growers manage every part of their farm.
“As we add more features, it’ll be a broader farm tool,” Garrett says. “But for now, we want its core functionality to be the core challenges microgreens growers face. And that’s making sure you grow the crops at the right time, in the right quantities.”
