Kashi Sehgal
Kashi Sehgal is Founder & CEO of Retaaza – a social impact food solutions company connecting food waste from farmers with those experiencing food insecurity by rethinking the local supply chain. She is also Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Forethica – an ethics consulting company helping organizations be more actively and intentionally ethical. Kashi leads the Campus Community Partnership Foundation which builds social entrepreneurship skills and fosters service learning in students across the globe.
Since building her first company in 2007, she has become a seasoned entrepreneur building businesses, nonprofits, and impact in technology, education, sustainability, food systems, ethics, entertainment, homelessness, and more. Kashi has worked with several global corporations running strategy and business development across digital, design, ecommerce, supply chain, and manufacturing. As a consultant with Accenture, she worked with Fortune 100s and governmental agencies on strategy and organizational development. Kashi now consults on strategy, growth, and purpose and especially enjoys working with startups, early-stage companies, and nonprofits.
She is a mentor with several organizations, including Techstars, and serves as an advisor, mentor, and investor to entrepreneurs and companies globally. Kashi is a member of the strategic Advisory Board leading ethics and purpose for The Purpose Group – a private equity holding company that drives business growth through purpose and values. She serves on numerous business, civic, arts, and nonprofit boards and committees including The Carter Center’s Board of Councilors, Emory University’s Center for Ethics, 48in48, the Gateway Center, and American Heart Association’s Health Equity Committee. Kashi is driven by creating positive impact through compassionate and creative problem solving in the world around her leading to ecosystem building and systemic change.
