Ridder Announces Partnership with Navus CEA Enterprises
Ridder, a company that provides technology and connected smart solutions for greenhouse growers internationally, recently announced its partnership with Navus CEA Enterprises, an investment company and “spin-off” of Navus Ventures. This new partnership enhances Ridder’s ability to invest in its business lines and leverage Navus’ industry network, expertise, and insights.
By working together, both companies hope to make Ridder a leader in automation and robotics across the controlled environment agriculture (CEA) industry. They’re off to a strong start, as this collaboration gives the company more capacity to create products that fit the future needs of growers while providing solutions that support and optimize the operations of their current customers.
“This is an exciting development for Ridder,” said Pascal Piepers, CEO of Ridder. “We remain true to who we are, while gaining the empowerment to focus on what we do best. Together we will accelerate and deepen our efforts to achieve our shared vision and strengthen Ridder’s position as a global innovator in CEA.”
Navus feels confident in the partnership as well.
“We believe in a bright future for sustainable food production to which horticulture contributes immensely.” Eduard Meijer, managing director of Navus explains. “The new partnership with Ridder underlines Navus’s goal to enable the transition towards a sustainable food production industry in different market segments. The partnership with Ridder fits seamlessly with this ambition.”
