New Product: A.M.A. Strawberry Growing System
February 27, 2025 The A.M.A. Strawberry Growing System was developed by Canadian companies A.M.A. Horticulture, a wholesale horticulture supplier, and Growtec, a gutter system manufacturer, to meet the growing demand for strawberries in Canada.
Designed to be a do-it-yourself tabletop gutter system, the growing system comes with gutters, brackets, drainage, and truss support. Available in 92-inch segments, growers can choose how small they want to start and grow their operation as they go. The system is designed to spec, assembled by growers on-site, and ready to be shipped across North America.
“We partnered with Growtec to create a scaled-down version of the same gutter system used in many 40-acre greenhouses,” says Shawn Mallen, manager of hydroponics and berries at A.M.A. Horticulture. “Now, smaller growers can get started at their own pace and budget, using a proven system that’s customized for their unique needs.”
A.M.A. Horticulture can supply growers with the strawberry growing substrate and growing container if needed.
