GLASE Webinar: NY/NJ Onsite Energy TAP
On December 12, 2024, GLASE Consortium will host a webinar on the NY/NJ Onsite Energy Technical Assistance Partnership (TAP) at 2 p.m. EST. Led by Jim Freihaut, Ph.D., chair of Penn State’s Department of Architectural Engineering and director of the U.S. Department of Energy’s NY/NJ TAP, this webinar will help attendees take advantage of the program’s incentives.
Funded by federal tax dollars, NY/NJ Onsite Energy TAP has a goal of helping industrial and other large energy growers transition to clean energy, lower costs, reduce emissions, and contribute to a clean energy economy.
As part of the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Industrial Assessment Center Implementation Grant Program, small- and medium-sized manufacturers, including CEA sites, may receive grants of up to $300,000 to implement recommendations made by the NY/NJ Onsite Energy TAP.
In addition, free technical energy assessments are offered regardless of whether end users are interested in applying for a grant. However, a technical assessment is a prerequisite in order to obtain that grant.
If you’re interested in benefitting from NY/NJ Onsite Energy TAP’s incentives and no-cost services like screening, market analysis, and learn how to best adopt clean energy technologies, make sure to register for this informative webinar.
