Dr. Tessa Pocock to Keynote the 2024 GLASE Summit

On July 11, 2024, the Cornell University Greenhouse Lighting and Systems Engineering (GLASE) consortium announced that Dr. Tessa Pocock, Chief Science Officer of Soli Organic, will keynote this year’s GLASE Summit.

Dr. Pocock has worked in the CEA industry for over 40 years, and has experience in both the business and academic parts of CEA. She left her position as Director of Light Optimization at Plenty to join the Soli Organic team three years ago. In her current role, she translates fundamental plant science into practical applications and solutions.

This year’s keynote presentation will cover dynamic lighting in nature and the greenhouse, circadian rhythms and sole source lighting. Dr. Pocock’s history and experience in light optimization should make for an informative presentation.
