Blue Radix Appoints Head of Sales in Canada and Northern U.S.
On July 17, 2024, Blue Radix named Ranier Sandoval the new Head of Sales in Canada and the Northern U.S. With his experience in sales and deep understanding of the Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) industry, Sandoval plans to offer growers in these regions a new perspective on autonomous growing. So CEA growers can better understand his vision, Sandoval shared his specific goals for them.
What is your primary mission as the new Head of Sales for Blue Radix in Canada and Northern U.S.?
Ranier Sandoval: My mission aligns with Blue Radix’s core values: empowering growers to achieve greater efficiency and productivity through innovative AI solutions. Using Blue Radix’s Crop Controller, I aim to provide growers with peace of mind, allowing them to focus on what truly matters – cultivating healthy, high quality crops.
What is the role of growers in the AI-driven process?
Ranier: One of the key strengths of Blue Radix’s approach is its collaborative nature. The AI system is designed to collaborate with growers, not replace them. By providing intelligent support and automating routine tasks, the Crop Controller allows growers to keep full control over their operations. Growers can choose the level of autonomy they are comfortable with, adjusting settings and parameters as they see fit. This ensures that the unique knowledge and ability of each grower are complemented, not overridden, by the AI technology.
Can you share some success stories or expected benefits under your leadership?
Ranier Sandoval: Under my leadership, Blue Radix aims to replicate the success seen by growers who have already adopted the Crop Controller. These growers have experienced substantial improvements in efficiency, with the AI system autonomously managing climate settings and reducing the incidence of issues like mildew. The result is a better-managed, healthier crop and increased yield, enabling growers to expand their operations and maximize their potential while having more peace of mind.
How do you plan to address the unique challenges faced by growers in your region?
Ranier Sandoval: I am committed to understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by growers in Canada and the Northern U.S. My customer-centric approach ensures that the needs and goals of each grower are at the forefront of Blue Radix’s efforts. By providing personalized support and proving the tangible benefits of autonomous growing, I am dedicated to helping growers embrace AI technology with confidence.
What can growers expect in the future with Blue Radix and your leadership?
Ranier Sandoval: With me based in Canada and leading sales for both Canada and the Northern U.S., Blue Radix is poised to expand its footprint and impact in these regions. Growers can expect a future where advanced AI solutions simplify their operations, improve crop quality, and boost overall productivity. Being locally based allows me to visit growers, sit down with them, and discuss their unique operations and challenges in person. This hands-on approach ensures we provide tailored support and solutions that truly meet their needs. My goal is to foster strong relationships and ensure that growers feel supported and confident as they embrace autonomous growing technology.
As Blue Radix continues to grow in the CEA industry, hiring Ranier Sandoval marks a significant milestone. Growers in Canada and the Northern U.S. now have an advocate who feels confident in using technology to improve their growing methods. Ranier will be attending the CEAg World Conference and Expo as well as the Canadian Greenhouse Conference, giving an excellent opportunity for growers to meet him in person and discuss how Blue Radix’s AI solutions can improve their operations.
