Upcoming Event: Inhouse Farming

From November 12 through 15, 2024, DLG will host an Inhouse Farming event in Hanover, Germany. Entitled “Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show,” this event marks DLG’s new platform for the agricultural and food systems of the future. Each day of the event will focus on a specific theme in agriculture.

Day 1: Insects

Tuesday, November 12 will focus on the potential of insects as an alternative source of protein. Experts in this area of the industry will delve deeper into this topic, explaining how insects can be used as animal feed and in the production of other products.

Day 2: Aquaculture, Aquaponics, and Algae

Wednesday, November 13 will focus on aquaponic systems and algae. Practitioners, fish farmers, and other experts will give short presentations on the topic and explain how aquaponics will continue to play a more significant role in CEA as the industry advances.

Day 3: Investors and Start-Ups

Several events will take place on Thursday, November 14 for investors and start-up companies in agriculture. There will be an investors’ breakfast, DLG Impulse Pitches, a start-up showcase, and an Inhouse Farming party to end the night. Day 4: Feed and Food for the Future

The final day of the event, November 15, will explore agriculture simulations and new technologies that aim advance sustainable agriculture.
