Garrett Corwin
Garrett is the owner and operator of Piedmont Microgreens (PMG) in Durham, NC. PMG is an indoor farm focused on growing microgreens for local chefs and home consumers. The farm grows for 50+ local restaurants, two local grocery stores, the farmer’s market, distributors, and the Durham Public School System. The team is scaling into a new facility, growing sales from $250,000 today to a new goal of $1,000,000. As a first-time entrepreneur, Garrett is trying to inspire and educate others by sharing PMG’s journey on social media. Garrett is also the COO of Microgreen Manager, a software company co-founded with his brother and CEO, Spencer. Microgreen Manager is a crop planning and order management software for microgreen growers at any scale. The software tells farmers when to perform every task needed to grow each variety at the right time and in the correct quantities.
