Elizabeth Moon
Elizabeth Moon is co-owner and President of Green Box Mushrooms (GBM) farm which she founded with her husband, John. GBM is the only State of Art Bottle Cultivation indoor farm in the Southeastern United States.
Elizabeth has over 30 years of project management background in IT and is now 5 years into cultivating fresh mushroom farming.
As an experienced project manager, Elizabeth successfully implemented the only bottle cultivation farm east of the Mississippi in Gainesville, Georgia.
Elizabeth emphasizes sustainable farming, sourcing local agri-waste and converting it to natural organic matter which can be reused as a natural fertilizer and soil amendment.
Elizabeth also assists other farmers to be able to grow and sell specialty mushrooms without much overhead and minimal manual labor.
